Health Care in Crisis Is Government the Solution or the Problem? By Glenn Gruenhagen, CLU, ChFC Minnesota State Representative The U.S. healthcare system (if it can even be called that) is like a person with an upset, sore stomach. No matter how we feel overall, the nagging pain is there, but we don't know the cause. Is it a mild flu or a deadly cancer? What we do know is we want it taken care of before it gets worse. Everyone agrees: We want access to affordable, high quality health care whenever we need it. But we have this nagging feeling that something is terribly wrong. U.S. health care needs healing. We have asked government to diagnose the problem and provide an effective cure. But is government solving our problems or making them worse?
